Mr Jugal Kishore Agarwal - Managing Director
Shri Jugal Kishore Agarwal, aged 67 years, is a commerce graduate from Calcutta University and also holds a bachelors degree in law from Calcutta University. He has more than 30 years of experience in the steel sector and has played a key role in envisioning the various business initiatives of the Adhunik group of companies.
Mr Mohan Lal Agarwal - Director
Shri Mohan Lal Agarwal, aged 54 years, is a commerce graduate from Calcutta University. He has over 22 years of experience in the steel sector. He has contributed to a large extent towards the society as much as he did towards the Group. He and other promoter-directors of the Group established Nav Nirman Sanstha (a social organisation of Adhunik Group) which has been working towards the upliftment of the underprivileged villages in the vicinity of Adhunik Group in the areas of operations.
Mr Mahesh Kumar Agarwal - Director
Shri Mahesh Kumar Agarwal, aged 52 years, is a commerce graduate from Calcutta University. He has over 20 years of experience in the steel sector and is accredited for setting up the first sponge iron plant and rolling mill of the Adhunik group of companies at Durgapur in the year 2001.
Mrs. Sonam Agarwal- Independent Woman Director
Mrs. Sonam Agarwal, aged 31 years, is a First Class Graduate from Calcutta University. She is a Fellow Member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, having 5 years of good experience in Finance and Accounts and acting as a Financial Consultant and Advisor.
Mr. Asit Baran Dasgupta - Independent Director
Mr. Asit Baran Dasgupta, aged 77 years, has a B. Com. degree from Calcutta University. He joined State Bank of India as P.O. in the mid-sixties & retired as General Manager (Commercial Banking) after 34 years of service. As a General Manager (Commercial Banking), he controlled the entire range of strategic exposure of the Bank having a large number of critical industries in the sectors of Steel, Power, Fertilizer, Automobile and Automobile ancillaries, Textiles etc. The active responsibility areas include financial planning & qualitative control of growth implementations with its implied rationalistic decision making strategies.
